I've been itching to set up another tank, but not finding anything that really jumped out at me. I got an email yesterday about a Petco sale and went to the website. Anyway they had the Evo 13.5 $50 off, and if you bought it online and picked it up in the store, you'd save another 25%. So with tax, roughly 100$ USD. I figured that was worth the drive. The drive being two hours each way, to Fargo ND. So making the trip there (And finding more stuff to buy) and back, got it set up last night.
My main tank is ~105G, with some fish I really don't want to lose, figured I'd turn the Evo into a QT tank for fish and corals.
I found this little guy at the Petco and he's pretty fat and out all the time. Roughly the size of a quarter:
His partner in crime is one of my favorite fish, an Orange Spot Blenny:
As far as coral, you can kind of see the two Paly grandis just below the blenny. I've also got a hammer and a cristata that just aren't doing well in the main tank. There is also a small toadstool I got yesterday as well on top. I've got another powerhead I'll put in tomorrow to help push water around. The live rock is from the main tank, so everything is cycled, I just moved it over and did an h20 change on the main tank. Cleaning the debris out tomorrow morning, and adding another piece of rock from the main tank.
I've got some bubble algae, but not worried about it. Cleanup crew coming in Thursday to take care of the algae.
