Hi all,
I bought a couple Noopsyche K7v3’s for my tank and by golly my life is BLUE.

There seems to be quite a bit of light spillage and I was wondering if I over did it with the lights.

The aquarium looks fantastic but this won’t fly long term as the entire room fluoresces.

Any and all advice is welcome/needed. My wife is going to kill me.

I temporarily put some cardboard to just shield the rest of the household from the lights…

someone might 3d print a light shield for these, if you inquire over in that section maybe someone will know. If the blue is overwelming I would ask others with the same light what lighting schedule they are using

I’m relatively new to this forum. How do I get there?

here is a quick link to the 3d printed section but if you press on forums it should come up with every category to choose from
Ugh I don’t see anything for my model lights. I even looked online to see and I see light shields for every make and brand except for NooPsyche

They leak greatly/ I wrapped mine with foil. Unsightly it is but directs all the light and shimmer to the tank

Wow! And I thought my radions were bad. Take some measurements and see if they match up to something maybe?

I have 4 on my 180
They don't spill or make the tank blue. Try lowering them to 8-9 inches and then adjust the color channels.
If you dont want blue turn it down and turn up the white, red and green-blue.

What are the settings you have it on now?

@dbati
A62 B35 C35 D62 E63 F63 through the middle of the day over a 24 inch deep tank. This makes the tank very closely match the 14K MH on the other tank
My tank is 20” deep. Any recommendations?

40% for the highest channels and go up slowly 2% at a time. Once I found the color I wanted I just add 2% to every channel on each increase. My lights are also more blue in the morning and late evening.
I started at 50% on my tank.
Mine are in a hybrid type fixture so I have additional lighting too though
