Hi everyone! I've repeatedly had salt mixes turn into solid blocks in the past no matter how hard I try to keep them away from moisture; with that in mind, would there be any benefit to adding one (or several) desiccant packs to the marine salt bag/container to absorb any moisture that inevitably works its way in? Thanks :)

I use a dessicant from Bulk Reef Supply for keeping salt mix dry. I use Instant Ocean 50g bags. When I open a bag, I close it loosely and stick it in a Home Depot bucket with a gasket. I open the jar of dessicant from BRS and put it in the bucket too. As long as I make sure to close the lid tight, it keeps the bag dry and powdery as long as I need it. Every few months I bake the dessicant to dry out the moisture.

Cool! Do the gaskets come with the bucket, or is it purchased separately?
