What about zooxanthellae..that too is an algae isn't it .. I have sea lettuce in both tanks ,I suppose I could move from one to the other to try

zoox are in every photosynthetic coral, zoas included. Zoas can endure almost an entirely just peroxide dip. Like I said, 1 ml per 10 gallons of water will have no harm to corals.

Macros and other exposed algaes, aka, not inside of a coral, would be susceptible to the oxidation effects of peroxide.

A write up from jay Hamdel "I don’t know why, but shrimp are really sensitive to peroxide….
Trouble with peroxide is as an oxidant, the amount of active dose in the tank is wholly dependent on the level of organics for it to oxidize, and that level changes over time. The result is that you cannot dose peroxide at a set amount - you need to measure the amount of free peroxide and dose accordingly. Amazon used to sell some low range peroxide test strips.
Another related problem with peroxide is after you add it, it reacts with the organics and then is not active against parasites until your next dose….your apex solves that issue I think.
This whole peroxide idea came about when somebody over extrapolated a study done in Hawaii controlling velvet with high dose peroxide dips - but these low doses were never tested."

Just be careful while you use hydrogen peroxide.

It can be dosed in the DT but with caution.

I had gha and a sea hare was an absolute beast tbh . I'm not saying get one , but they are aggressive algae eaters . Wiped all algae in my 75g in 2 weeks .

Did you move it on after..or did it starve ha

Yea I only took it back on Saturday. I have a decent size cuc , but the sea hare went to town . Hopefully my cuc keeps in in check .

That technically is what im doing with the brush ,get to a tidy level and keep on top esp at the back where it is grubby as hell and cant reach although the wave maker is pointed there every day to give it a blast out ha ..maybe the lawnmower blenny will start helping out now its been disturbed

I have a lmb but he don't touch gha , only eats the film algae. Get a few mexican turbo snails they are good .

Hey, how'd that 2 week test go?
Knew I'd forget ha ,all clean as a whistle ,sorry for pic ,I've just done it but didn't want to disturb, ps cheap brush still works perfect , I'm sure a more stiffer bristle would work even better , no new algae area either with spreading it
