Detail's-Drip Acclimation Of Fish & Corals ?

Wither you use a system by Innovative Marine AccuDrip (like a IV bag) or DIY, I have questions.
I've used a siphon tube for a while, but I'm always up & down very 5 minutes adding a little of water of the QT tank, while the bag sits in the tank to adjust the temp, not bad, but just wanting better etc.

I know that it depends on the size of fish and the bag, but how many drops to use and for how long ?

If you use a bucket, how can you adjust the temp, just by the drip ? (we keep the house very cool)

So, what do you do to acclimate your fish and corals ? Details please....

When I can, for fish I use the non-drip method where you match temperature and salinity of bag water and tank water, and then just transfer them over.

I use drip acclimation for inverts and anemones, some of which go directly into the DT and not to QT. I do use the IM accudrips, I find them handy. Much easier for me to control than knotted airline. I put the animals in a hang-on plastic specimen box, put that in the sump where it will stay warm, and then hang the dripper off the edge of the DT extending down into the box. Drip rate depends entirely on how much water you start with and how fast you want to acclimate, so there is no 1 right answer. With my technique, I start with about 2 drops per second for most animals, and adjust from there depending on how long I want the whole process to take. Total duration depends on the animal; very sensitive species like some sea stars get 2+ hours.

I don't acclimate corals at all. Just match temp, dip for parasites, and transfer them over.

When I acclimate I have a thick plastic bag that I float in the sump and clip to the sides so that it stays separate - I then run a drip via airline with an adjuster valve from the DT into that bag. Keeps it warm and allows me to drip for hours.
