devil hand dying.

not sure if this is the right thread or not, i didnt see a leathers only. my devil hand recently broke in half bascially.... he hasnt fully died yet (its still trying to prickle out its tentacles) im not sure what happened all my other corals are flourishing at the moment. im not sure what to do? should i remove it and cut my losses or stick it to a plug and see what happens?

Yea, he looks alittle bent out of shape. You could just leave him alone, if he's been in that spot for a time. I leave softies alone until I see them start to dissolve, then they are gonners. Softies are finicky, and can pout for a spell, no reason to do anything with them in the short run. Anything near him that could sting him?

ive got some Zoas directly next to him right now, but he was in an open area when it he started to change.

Yea, Zoas won't do it to him. I'd just watch him for the time being, he's still ok.

Do you advise sticking a plug to him? Right now he's just laying down sideways on a rock with a busted up foot/base that has yet to heal.

I try to prop them up. I have one, and the more I tried to place him where I wanted him, the more he pulled himself off the plug, so i just kinda place him in low flow by a rock, and he attached himself to it, then I was able to move him around a bit more. Now h'es in high light, high flow, and does great. But still does the softy pout from time to time.
