Had a devils hand coral for a year now its always been a pinky colour with white polyps and when it shrinks and sheds it goes green..upgraded lights to led about a month ago now its green all the time with white polyps anyone know why this might be?

Simply the change in lighting.

So the coral itself will be ok? Its just the new lighting bringing out the green pigment?

Yes, if the coral is expanding daily then it will be fine, should it stay closed for part of the photoperiod then you might have to dim the new LEDS or reposition the coral to a more shaded area.

If it is opening the same as it was before I wouldn't worry about it. I recently upgraded my light and a couple leathers now appear different in color from what they were before.
