Devin's 225 gal build

Finally got some more progress. Canopy is finished and sump is in the stand. Time for plumbing.

Sorry, for the long wait. Work has been pretty wild this year.
I'm currently in a temporary quarantine after being exposed to covid at work. While waiting for my test results to arrive, I'm stuck at home.
Today I did most of the plumbing. I will be finishing the returns tomorrow.

After the plumbing, I'll start working on the rockscape on my workbench.
Once I return to work, I begin working on what I call a leveling platform for the tank. My floor is off 9/16" over the length of the tank. Honestly, I'm not certain how else to properly leverl the stand. The way planet aquarium built the stand is with a flat sheet of plywood that contacts the floor. If I shim the low side "right side" of the stand, almost all of the stand will be left unsupported.
My solution as a welder, is to fabricate a platform with steel tubing. I'll then weld some weld nuts for leveling feet

Well the wait is finally over.
First fish is in! A Red Sea sailfin tang from TSM arrived about an hour ago and seems to be doing very well so far
I have about a dozen fish arriving next Saturday and can't wait!
Last year was pretty crazy to put it mildly and progress on the tank was at a standstill. Between catching the rona twice, hurricane Ida, and starting a new career after spending 17 years at my last job, I've finally made some time to finish the tank.

Following. Keep the updates coming

Some more fish arrived earlier last week. Unfortunately the shipment of three yellow tangs that was supposed to be delivered Saturday morning was held up for three days. When I finally received them yesterday, all had passed...
I am expecting to receive another order sometime next week. Hopefully all goes well!
