I've never been a fan of underwater reef epoxy gluing based on the chemicals used, and I think the only way to know is for people to have tried it and get a result.

That said, I don't have any knowledge of experiences with this brand.

Thanks randy. I'm trying to redo my scape.
Minute mend doesn't really work and you need a whole lot of super glue to glue rock together. I was hoping this would work. I drilled some rock and pinned them together but it takes a long time and a lot of drills.
I'll keep at it.
Thanks.

I’ve used the z-spar splash zone epoxy in numerous tanks with no issue. If it touches the tissue of corals they recede in that specific area but recover well. Even watched the fish pick at it before it cures and they lived.

So I understand, using it underwater is bad because of the chemical reactions. But it's okay to use it outside the aquarium? When it's cured it says 'nontoxic'. I assume it's okay in water? I'm still cautious to use it.

If you’ve ever been to the Denver aquarium and seen their reef tank all of the rock work there is in place with Z-spar. As well as all the decorative panels in the open ocean tank.
