Took AFS off light bar and did a 10 gallon water change!
Definitely glad to see the changes and you still going. This thread and your videos where a lot of what I used to understand and get my tank.

Thanks for following along! It's been a journey no doubt, honestly I am surprised I still have a tank running at this point. At the moment I know if I got out I would regret it, luckily I made a smart decision when I picked this tan out. It is the perfect size for my wants and needs!

New look... this isn’t permanent, I didn’t want to pull ALL of the rock work out. It was a task but it’s semi complete!

Anything plastic in my tank gets covered in it pretty quickly. I haven’t cleaned the back glass in months, it’s finally starting to grow there!

Long weekend means filling up the two 40 gallon containers full of RODI water. I should have bought an auto flush Spectrapure RODI unit!

I just bought the Icecap Smart Rodi unit and although I haven't set it up yet, I'm pretty sure it'll knock my socks off !!! B-) It's got so many features especially the quiet booster pump and metal frame tote. @jasonamyers aka Hermit Reefer here on R2R did a video on it HERE. Where has he been?!?! I followed his build, well both of them! A booster pump is a must for me, it made my life MUCH easier!
Ironically this was a concern for me last winter. It was in the single digits for a few weeks. Water never froze and my garage isn’t temperature controlled. I added a thermometer this year to keep and eye on garage temps. The water gets cold, I just heat it up when I mix salt!

I haven't heard from him in quite some time. I followed his Reefer 250 build, the tank he won in an Ultimate Tank Giveaway. He calls it the UTG tank. I really was getting into this thread since he uses a custom Synergy Reef TS-26 just like my build and he's doing the Triton Method on his tank just like my build. Well I hope he and his tanks are doing fine. BTW @pelphrey, I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving and hope you got a good deal on something through the BF deals !!! B-)#

We had a wonderful break! Hope you and your family had a great thanksgiving! Maybe I need to reach out to him, he is only 2.5 hours away from me and I think I have his email!
As far as deals I got some salt, reactor and some filter socks. Nothing fancy yet! Haha I am thinking hard about swapping out the apex classic for the EL. Just not sure yet!

Hey @pelphrey, good to know your holiday was great, so was ours. Rock looks great, lots of caves for the fish. BTW, you're looking at buying an ApexEL? I bought an ApexEL back in August and I'm thinking of selling the brain only. Keeping the EB832 and two probes. PM me if interested.

I know right, it has to be user error. I almost bought some acro's today, but instead went with corals I know I can keep. My SPS journey isn't done, just not ready to go down that path just yet!
