I bought this about a year ago from a online retailer. It was sold to me under the name DFS Pink Panther. It was a nub so was hard to tell at time but now that it has grown out a bit just wanted to see what the forum thought. It is more Pink then red in person.

It looks legit. I had a minicolony awhile ago but lost it in a crash. It's probably one of the slowest growing corals out there too. I see the white polyps on it too which is a key characteristic of the coral.

With those colors, I'm okay if it's slow! Lol nice piece!

Thank you. It has been painfully slow growing.

Hmmmm...I don't know. What's the branch thickness? Could you show it with something for scale? It seems too "stout" to be a DFS pink panther to me. To me, the darker branch tips make it look more like the ATL rosy red granulosa, or one of the other red granulosas that make nice lookalikes to the pink panther. I think you got an ATL RR from me & Sanjay at the last Ohio swap in October, if memory serves. If you have or could take a pic of the two side-by side, it'll be very easy to tell if it's real or fake. Whatever it is, it's quite nice. I hope it's real for your sake ^_^.
