Little late on the update.... Salt water is in and running! So happy with everything so far. Couple thoughts I have right now is ATO, possible UV, adding pm1 with ph, and having apex control the kessil.

Right now I have filter sock plus cheato in the in or section. Anything else I should add?

How much did this all cost if i were to remove any unnecessary upgrade? Im a beginner with no sw tanks looking to build a reef. I was looking at the nuvo 40 as well. Corals I've been looking at are some easy soft corals like mushroom and xenia.

i just started a build thread with the same tank and a few differences in equipment you should check out my build thread i listed everything i bought and how much mine i kept to a strick 1k build and i came in just under that, with that being said most of my equipment was used.

@Dgramig great build thread cant wait to read more keep updating since your about a month ahead of me id like to see how yours is progressing compaired to mine especially with the equipment differences.
