How do I tell if my Hi-s DI cartridge is used up? I don’t see anything that says what color the materials turn when they’re exhausted. This is kent marine cartridge (far right), TDS still reads 0 going out, water coming in is 006

There are silicate test kits. I periodically check output using Salifert. Maybe once every 3-6 months. Check for chlorine at same time. Even with 0 TDD. Never had Si issue though and don't use that cartridge.

What are you use to read TDS down to .006? If the water going in the DI cartridge is that low it should last a long time.
