I changed my di for the first time and inlet is 4 ppm and outlet is 30. Is this normal and how long does it take to flush out, if it is normal ?

The line that goes from the RO membrane to the DI reads 4? And the line that comes out of the DI stage reads 30? Is this a mixed bed or single bed resin?

I generally toss the first few gallons that come through a new DI resin. Some resins, like single bed cation resins, can actually increase TDS because they swap charged ions for hydrogen. The extra hydrogen in the water causes increased conductivity, which shows on a TDS meter as increased TDS.

I read more on this and I think you hit the nail on the head. I'm sure it'll go back to 0 in a little bit
