How long does DI resin last on the shelf? I have a loose pack of it in a plastic ziplock bag (2 lbs maybe) sitting on my shelf in the basement. It has been sitting there for 5 years without being opened. Is it still good? I opened it and it is dry.

I had a bunch of resin still sealed in Mylar pouches for a few years. It was the color change stuff so it was obvious it was exhausted. No big deal, I was going to start regenerating resin anyway.

I have seen a video of a guy regenerating his resin, it was pretty cool.
If you do regenerate it, please post a vid with detailed instructions.
I am curious about this but really need to know and understand when is it cost effective to do vs. buying new resin.
Basically, how much resin do you have to regenerate vs. the cost of the chemicals for it to be worth while.

This should be interesting.

I think BRS says 2 years if it's sealed... take that fwiw. I'll drink the milk if it doesn't smell funny.
