DI Resin Storage

My DI resin form BRS came in a one of those ziplock silver bags. After opening, I want to store it in a jar instead. I know it's sensitive to air, but would the light exposure affect it in any way? The jar will be placed in a cabinet if that makes a difference.

Light is no concern, only CO2 from the air.

Aluminum foil coatings are used because they deter CO2 very well, rather than because they also happen to block light.

After recharging my resin, I place 1 cartridge's worth it in a zip loc bag, still moist with RO water, I roll it up to get most of the air out, then I zip it shut and place that bag into a zip loc vaccum bag, suck all the remaining air out with the hand pump and VOILA....it's good until the next time I need it.
