Please do your research before you tell me you commit to purchase. Just ordered another skimmer due to it being sold. Then the buyer ( kuansreef ) backed out. Yes this skimmer is DISCONTINUED. But parts are readily available, and the SICCE PSK 600 pump is always available. It will be run in vinegar and cleaned beofre it gets shipped. Thanks

As I understand your frustration. This is a forum that is here to help you. If the buyer backs out its his right regardless of why. If you jumped the gun and bought something before you had the cash for it that's on you. I find it very temperamental and inappropriate to call out another fellow reefer over him backing out of a purchase through a forum. Would you rather him have buyers remorse and then flame you for selling him a piece of equipment you conveniently failed to mention was discontinued. Yes he should research the product and yes you should mention that as information when selling. Although not required its good practice to be as upfront and informative about a product your selling on the forums. This is a forum for fellow reefers not a business. I just started selling things on here and have had a great experience and met fellow reefers who were nothing short of amazing people.
With all that being said its not my intention to offend you or police the forums. I am just want to keep a positive and friendly environment where everyone can feel safe and comfortable purchasing and selling here. Its a great opportunity and connects you with hundreds maybe even thousands of fellow hobbyist you would not have access to. Lets appreciate what we have and treat fellow members as family and friends.
