That Pump been discontinued so I found a perfect match its same as a Jebao DC 6000 pump just different color

Used the pinwheel from the Diablo pump it fits the Jebao

Well, they did discontinue that pump, but they made an upgrade kit to convert it to a varios 6! Lol, I always assumed that the body looked eerily similar, but now that kinda proves it. I got the upgrade kit, and I higher wattage DC than the ro 5500, but same body. It's funny that coralvue named it 6, just like the jebao. FYI, you can still but the impeller for the varios 6 and it fits. This is why I love coralvue though, and I they keep parts around and have upgrade paths, plus their support is great.

What skimmer do you have that running on? I have a reef octopus Regal 220, which they don't make anymore, but it's an 8" cone.

I got the POV DC2 cone also 8 inch .
24 hours on new pump and its alive

We don't have quite the same pump body, but very similar. Mine looks a lot closer to the Varios pump body these days. I'll have to pull apart my skimmer pump at some point in the near future to compare the internals. But the impeller looks almost identical, except mine is not transparent. But the ceramic shaft etc... seem to be the same. I had mine seize up from not cleaning enough, so had to get a new impeller and bearings which I got from Coralvue support. I do a better job cleaning these days, but I suspect it was from the previous owner, as it was completely seized when I got it.

My pump stopped last night on my POV-DC2. Cleaning it now and crossing my fingers I can get it running again. Awesome thread! I hope I can find one of those jebo pumps for back up!
