Dear R2R,

I was watching a youtube video when I spotted a clownfish with swollen gills.

I had a yellow tang in the past that developed this reddish swollen gills and just wasted away. At that point, the yellow tang was with a couple of clowns which were not affected.

However, after the Tang died, I did rearrange my rock work and my clowns developed the same condition except to much lesser extent that the pics below and the swelling have sort of remain the same for about a month now.

No ammonia and NO2 is detected. NO3 levels were little high but still safe.
I did a brief research, but most of the answers were suggestive of toxic water conditions. What could be the cause of this condition?
I did a freshwater dip on the yellow but no flukes fell off.

Fish Only Tank.
Water changes are done every two weeks.

The following are pics of a clown from a random youtube video.

Thank you.

Most common reason is ammonia burn.
