I just can't seem to get my flow dialed in on my 10g reef. The return pump by itself seems to be the perfect flow for the corals, but not enough to keep detritus and food from settling. On the flip side when I turn my wavemaker on, it keeps things from settling but it just seems too much for the LPS and kind of blasts a few around. Lowest setting, I've tried all the modes, different spots in the tank, angles, etc..

Thinking about getting a smaller wavemaker, I have this now: https://www.bulkreefsupply.com/ss6-0-supersilent-dc-wavemaker-1585-gph-skimz.html

Not 100% sure though that will help though. Also thinking maybe just a little regular pump (like this or this) and try to put it behind the rocks to keep things from settling in the back?

Anybody have a nano and can share some advice on flow setups?

I´ve an 8 gallon mixed reef, lots and lots of flow, zoas, gorgs and lps are used to it now, they way i aproached it was to aim the wavemaker to the back wall to diffuse some flow and create a sort of gyre, then overtime increase speed and the critters are used to it now, you can check my buildthread if you like.
