Dialing new skimmer

Looks ok to me...just shut off and dump that and should skim a lil less now they always take few days break in ...but from pics looked like you have set about right

Look pretty good to me not sure whats in your water to get a milky cup but I would just dump the cup back into the tank and repeat process for a few days to a week. Once it breaks in then try small adjustments to get the skim looking the way you want it. For now just let it run and don't try to adjust it as you will pull your hair out trying to figure out my you cant adjust it and it actually has nothing to do with you.

Looks like it is just breaking in should be fine.

if its a new skimmer you should not dump the cup back into the sump, the skimmer has a thin layer of oil and it needs to be removed.

If thats a vertex omega it takes forever to break in also if you have it inless then 6 1/2 inches a water, put a tiny tiny piece of cotton in the air hole and have the venturi closed. Ive found that with this skimmer its my sweetspot of tinkering with it for 2 years lol

Looks like it's breaking in properly. Give it some more time and that Skimmate will get gross as time passes
