Diamond goby attacks

Hi, I just got a orange gorgonian today and it was fine for the first few hours. Then, suddenly I see the diamond goby try to pull one of the branches into the burrow. Is that normal?
Will this go on until the gorgornian is in the burrow?
Should I take out the gorgonian?

If that is his new spot of choice to burrow then I believe he will keep at it until satisfied.
