Hey all,
I have a new diamond goby in my tank that has been breathing a bit weird. We are going on day 4 and everything otherwise appears fine. He made his cave and has recently started coming out more and sifting sand. He loves to eat and I’ve been spot feeding him which he will rush to get. Occasionally he looks like he is gasping for air and I’m not sure if this is just stress related from the move. His normal breathing looks fine, just occasional breaths illustrated below. Any ideas?
Edit: I should include all levels I’ve tested are good. I haven’t tested oxygen but there is lots of surface agitation provided by a filter and power head aimed to help with this.
