i just got a really nice diamond watchman goby. I really excited, I've been wanting a goby from the start. He's been super active since I put him in the display. I think he may be eating my cleanup crew. He's picking up ceriths and nasa's and dropping them off in the hole under the rock that he's made. Is he eating them? Is this normal behavior for them? My cleaner shrimp seems upset about the new addition to the tank. He's been hanging out on the skimmer return for awhile. I think he's mad about the cloudy water.

Probably very little chance he is eating them. They will pick up whatever ever they can and move it to where ever they want. Mine especially likes to move and bury frags.

They will move snails around. Usually in their way or near their hole

What a cool fish! I hope eventually the sand gets cleaned to the point that it's not a constant cloudy mess. It's really fun watching him work. I'm glad I placed my rockwork on the glass, he's completely burrowed under one big rock. He's got a hole on one side that he'll poke his head out of and look around.

He is not eating the cuc. He doesn't view them as cuc, he just sees the shells as possible building materiels.

The cloudiness should get filtered out shortly.
