Diamond Goby health issue

Can anyone help me identify what’s wrong with my DBG. Woke up to him having this growth?? near his mouth. He’s acting 100% normal want to make sure he’s not in pain nor is he a risk to my other fish.

I’ve seen a few cases recently of this with gobies - I don’t know what the underlying cause is; injury, bacteria, fungus?
Is the goby still eating?

yes still eating well sifting as normal and active
