Diamond goby problem

Sorry to hear that. :sad: I've actually got a diamond goby in QT right now that managed to jump/wedge himself in-between the screen and eggcrate (I've since flipped it over.) IME; they are one of the hardest fish to keep long-term because of the jumping. I'm not sure if mine is gonna make it or not... don't know how long he was out of water for.
Mine appears to have bounced back from this most recent episode. He's eating/acting normally again.

I think $25 is a decent price. I would still suggest you keep an eye on other tank mates because it really looked to me like an injury as opposed to a type of infection. Obviously once there is a wound, infection setting in is possible. I think something was pestering the goby when you weren't watching.
