Diamond Goby Skinny/Bent tail

I got this Diamond Goby a few months ago and he's always had this bend but I think he's gotten skinnier even though I try to feed him with my syringe. He was this big when I got him and maybe he was crammed in during shipping and everything but normally fish would heal by now right?
