Diamond goby went missing

Hey:

So I have had my 24-gallon tank set up for about 2 months now. I have been doing 5 gallon water changes about once ever 1.5 weeks and I check my levels every other day. Everything is within normal levels and is stable. I have had a diamond goby about a month now and he has been out every day until about 2 days ago. I did a water change and he was out afterwards, I went to bed and woke up and haven’t seen him since. I know they are known to hide, just wasn’t sure if it’s normal because he has been out for so long and is now hiding ( hopefully not dead). Thanks in advance.

Look in your overflow. Lost mine, searched to no avail, waited a month bought another, just happened to be in my overflow and low and behold he was in there, go him out, the two gobies went to war, and now I have none. Ahhhhh. Reefing.
