Diamond goby with no diamonds?

So while I’m visiting my parents, I went to once of the local LFS and they had a Diamond goby with no orange spots. Is this just a unique Diamond goby or are there other types im not aware of? Never seen anything like this one before

That’s a “Chalk Goby” Valenciennea sexguttata. Arguably harder to keep than its relative Valenciennea puellaris (I personally find them to be around the same in difficulty… and those who know me know that I believe valenciennea shouldn’t be in captivity).

Also, Valenciennea is a genus if I believe 16 species. Valenciennes puellaris is the most common (I plan on an article explaining the issues of this genus).
