I really like these wrasses, they are probably my fav wrasse of all. So, I decided to make a thread about them. Does anyone have pictures or experience with them? Where can one be bought?

I got mine from NY Aquatic years ago. Earlier this year DD and Aqua Locker had them. Prettiest fish I've ever had.

I saw the females for sale on nya back a while ago. When I went I back to see about getting one recently, they were gone:(. If any of you guys that have them ever decide to sell, let me know ;)

I had mine for about 2 yrs and recently died of what I believe was old age. He used to eat out of my hand. Awesome little fish and just waiting for collection to start up again so I can grab another.

Had this happen to me :) I check their site and my other go to fish vendors sites ,, several times a day ,, I see a fish on my want to buy list pop up ,, in the cart it goes :)
I probably would have put it right in, but I had a royal gramma in my quarantine at the time, and I was treating her with prazi.

I have one; gets along with 2 flasher wrasses, a leopard wrasse and yellow tail tamarin wrasse. Lovely fish - eats like a machine. I qt’ed him with cooper and general cure. Likes to flash the other wrasses at lights out. You can see him swimming about in my last video update

Beautiful tank!!! Could you get any pics of it please? The only one I could see well was the wrasse at the top that looked like pintail.

Yesterday while doing a water change all the fish in the tank are hiding in the rocks while the DT and Pintail are out and about like not nothing is wrong. These two wrasse are the most friendly and are definitely not afraid of humans. I have to be careful when feeding not to hit either one with a spoonful of frozen food. And Michael it is very hard not buying one of the redsea juvenile regal angels you have right now!

I almost bought on the other day my LFS had one for 99.00. Was a very nice one. I wish I would have.

P. attenuates should not be hard to keep alive if they are healthy. Alton is the expert in keeping small Regal angel acclimated to captivity. My Regal pair I got was from Alton. I think I am OK at keeping wrasse like Leopard acclimate. I don't QT them in sterile condition but in a 40 gal reef full of pods and macroalgae.

I just received one of these in the mail this morning! I’m so excited! It doesn’t look anything like the pictures I’ve seen though. Can anyone confirm that this is a female diamond tail flasher wrasse? It’s a peach color instead of red. Here are the pics
