Diamond watchman goby behavior

I have recently purchased a Diamond watchman goby [2 days ago] and for those 2 days, he has been picking at the sand so much the tank gets blurry and white and i have trouble seeing in there without a flashlight. So is this just a phase he'll go through? Or is there something i need to

Sounds like he’s triggering bacterial blooms. A capful of stability by seachem helped my nano when I was experiencing bacterial blooms.

Probably just the fine stuff from the sand. Give it some time. That's what gobies do.

Alright. I doubt it's anything, but if there was anything to worry about i want to be proactive instead of reactive

Not a phase. Diamond Gobies sift through and keep the sand clean. He's just doing his job. The cloudiness should settle after a couple of days. No need to do anything.
