Diamond watchmen goby and tiger pistol?

so today I bought a diamond watchman goby. Will this pair with my pistol shrimp or not. Can't really find an answer or should I take him back and get another goby. Or can I add another goby to my 30g

He will not pair with a pistol shrimp. They spend there time sifting through the sand, not digging burrows. If you want a goby that will pair with a shrimp, then take him back but it is up to you. I would not add a shrimp goby pair and a diamond watchman goby to a 30 gallon together. There would be too much competition for food.

There are many Goby's that will pair up with your pistol. The High Fin Red Banded and Yellow Watchman are my favorites. [emoji2]

Also, a diamond watchman will grow 6"+, so will outgrow most 30g tanks.
