So I've had this brown algea (think its diatom ) for 2 weeks now I did a 20% water change on Monday and cleaned my rocks and sand bed and it still looks horrible.

I have a bio cube 32 with 1 trouchus snail , 1 ninja star snail , 1 coral banded shrimp and 2 zoanthid frags.

My question is how to get rid of the diatoms. Algae? Any help?

Should I add a clean up crew? If so how big of one in a 32 gal bio cube?
I would add some, I recently went through the diatoms phase and added 1 throchus, 2 astrea, and 2 cerith snails to my 13 gallon and the diatoms are eaten right as they show up.

This is the well known ugly stage and you can periodically vacuum the sediment and diatoms. I used NoPO4 by red sea to help control when I had this stage.
Trochus and nassarius snails should help with cleanup.
