Diatom bloom (beginner reefer)

I have a 3 month old tank, couple corals and fish in it. I've had a diatom bloom for about a month now, anyone know how to get rid of it or will it just go away on it's own?

It will go away once it uses all of the silicates. What is your water source? RODI with 0 TDS and it will go away.

Yes I use RO water always

RODI. RO is only half of it and silicates and other things are still there. If you use RODI water than just wait it out. One day it will just be gone. Almost like magic. Dry sand will add a lot of silicates that lead to the diatom bloom. Mine lasted about 2 weeks, then when I added sand to my fuge I got another one that lasted about a week. Nothing to bother with nor do anything about it. After it disappears you will probably get GHA and that one you will have to work on a litte. Good Luck!
