Diatom bloom problem. Is it the salt mix?

I was using instant ocean and didn’t have any problems with diatoms. I recently used coral life salt mix, and was wondering is it high in silica? I found it in the closet and I’m not even sure if they make it anymore. Does anyone think that’s what’s causing the Diatom Bloom?

How old is the tank?

The tank is a couple years old. But I recently did a large water change.I gues that was a 50 percent 2 month ago then 10 percent a couple weeks ago

If that's the only real thing that's changed, then yeah - would probably be my primary suspect.
