Hey guys, this tank is around 5 years old and is going through some “renovations”. I recently bought some Marco rock online to supplement my current live rock. I added the two new pieces (15 lbs) over the course of a week. I inspected for organic matter and rinsed both pieces very well. About a week later I am starting to get a bunch of brown growth I have never seen. It is especially evident on the power heads. Is this normal and will it go away naturally? Water parameters seem fine and normal. For a CUC I have 10 red leg hermits, a few nas, 3 trochus, 2 astrea, a cleaner shrimp,and some other snails. Thanks in advance!
