The last few days I’ve gotten what looks like diatoms on my sand bed. Always gotten a slight brown dusting on glass and sad but I’ve seen a significant increase. Is this something to worry about? Maybe a new cycle? All corals (LPS and SPS) seem to be doing great but zoas are slowly melting.

40-gallon AIO cube. Tank is about 10 months old.

1.026
Temp: 76-77.5
PH: 8.2-8.4
All: 8.0-8.2
Calc: 440-445
Mag: 1440-1460
Pho: 0.5
Nitrate: 5

Light: Kessil A360X, 60% intensity, 40% color (photo period 12 hours with ramp up/down)

It can return. As I do,,,,,, add .5-1ml of hydrogen peroxide per 20 gallons nightly when lights go out

No effect on coral and it starves the diatoms of its' food source

Does the hydrogen peroxide really work?!? My tank is 7 months old and the diatoms came and went then BAM they're back hardcore... Will this seriously work, I have to clean the glass twice a day just so I can see my coral
