I just got through the nitrogen cycle about a month ago and added some frags about a week ago. Today I noticed I have a diatom bloom. Will this negatively effect coral? How can I help?

They usually won't bother coral too much. They should go away on their own. If needed and they are thick enough, you can turkey baste them off the corals until the bloom dies down (assuming you aren't adding silicates via water or other means).

Okay. Unfortunately I willed the tank up with tap but switched to rodi soon after. Hopefully it won’t take to much longer
