Im hoping for help identifying 2 of the 3 algaes in my tank. Tank has been set up since Dec 2019. The video shows what I believe to be Brown Hair Algae. The pic is what I believe to be diatoms although it could be Dinos. I have sent out a sample of what I believe to be dinos from off the rocks to FishofHex to identify. I have also ordered a microscope so I can identify.

Would love opinions on the identification of the 2 algaes attached.

As a side note-I have needed to remove algae daily for a month now. I have read so much conflicting advice on how to get rid of dinos, diatoms, and BHA (starve them, feed more, raise phosphate and nitrates, get a large # of snails for diatoms, dinos kill snails which in turn feeds dinos so remove snails, Vibrant, Microbacter7, H202, yeast, raise PH, raise

temp, leave the algae and allow it to grow, remove it, UV, turn off skimmer, turn up skimmer...ugh). At this point I feel its anyones guess on how to handle algae.

You first need to get results back about the dinos and deal with them first.
I find that natural solutions, such as snails, fish, lighting changes, water chemistry.. ect work better for algae control long term than chemical quick fixes.
