My goal at this time is getting diatoms to bloom to slow down the growth and spread of dinos. I have Dinos in this tank. Is this a diatom bloom???

If you have been dosings silicates, it could be a diatom bloom.

Keep holding up nitrates and your phosphates by dosing synthetic liquids, if need be.

Tip:
Buy some good pods and AlgaeBarn's OceanMagik phytoplankton to rid the dinos as well... :)

snail mouthprints on the glass say you are correct. :)
