Diatoms ? More cuc?

New tank. I’m assuming diatoms. I have 3 hermits , 3 small hermits. 5 nassari snails.

1 strawberry conch but he has been buried here since yesterday


would 5 more hermits and 2 more nassari snails do the job ?

my hermits have mostly been on rocks . Only got 1 that stays on the sand

If it is a new tank, then it will go thru the new tank uglies and clear up on its own in 3-4 weeks usually.

Right , but shouldn’t I expand CUC to avoid any coral issues temporarily
