Diatoms not quite 2 months old tank

Hello my tank is obviously new and I am just starting to see a diatoms bloom. I know this is part of the process however. Will increased flow help? I'm installing a vortex mp40 soon. Also where do they come from?

Yes. Diff types too.
more flow will help but can’t tell without videos. I would start with 10 nails per 40 gallons of display and adjust from there

Ya I plan to get a few tomorrow. I put a diamond star gobie in as well. I may buy copopods also.

Be glad it‘s diatoms. In my first tank I had diatoms but no dinos. And yes, you can add a CUC. Just look up those snails that eat diatoms and get some of them. Don’t buy just any ones.
