Diatoms or Dino’s?

Help ID please. used dry rock and Fritz Turbostart 900 to cycle as well as ammonia chloride.
Salinity 1.025 Refractometer
Alk 8.1Hanna
Calcium 465 Salifert
Mag 1330 Salifert
Ph 8 API
Nitrate 5 Nyos
Phos 0.09 Hanna
Ammonia 0 API
Nitrite 0 API

dinos give you that stringy coating with air bubbles. Microscope tells you for sure.

My nitrates and PO4 are detectable so does this mean it could be diatoms?

That's dino's for sure, I don't know from experience ;Facepalm . Looks like a new tank with dry rock. It will pass once you get more diversity and living organisms as the tank matures. I dosed microbacter7 during my out breaks and it helped speed it up.

Diatoms will be a golden brown dusting on the sand and live rock. It won't be stringy or have many air bubbles like dinos.

It's for sure dinos. It will probably burn itself out, if not may black it out and run UV. If you don't have a bunch of coral in there then no worries. This is certainly the best time to have dinos.
