I finished cycling 2 weeks ago and last week I turned on lights and bought 5 zoa frags. 3 days later I have what I THINK are Diatom. I want to turn the lights back off until solicits run out but then I kill the Zoas! What is the shortest lighting schedule I can run without killing the Zoas. I have a 55 gallon with 2 AI prime 16 HDs. I tried scrubbing the algae off the rocks with a tuth brush but this stuff is not coming off lol. Please give me your thoughts of lighting. Also can someone tell me if in fact this is Diatom? Thanks!
