Diatoms

little different for each tank.
mine lasted about 6 or 7 days with a decent clean up crew in the tank as well.

Diatoms last about as long as whatever the they are feeding off is still in the tank. Let them run the cycle and they should go away. If that isn't fast enough for you, start doing water changes with well know sea salts. Those should help clean them up.

They lasted about a month and seem to be gone now, but all my rocks seem to be stain from them and I keep brushing them with a tooth brush , but twitch no success

I have a 125 g tank and about 100 lbs of live rock

I'm also seen some green calcification in some of my rocks , I hope coralline algae will come soon

I only have 2 clown fish and 2 fire fish , waiting for the cycle to complete before adding some soft corals

Rocks will take on a completely different color over time.
Better just to leave it as you'll brush off beneficial bacteria every time you do that.

It also depends on your tank and additives, feedings.
Here is a shot of diatoms newly grown out in my 5 year old tank.
