Hey guys, so I just had a massive diatom bloom and I was wondering what you guys suggest to get rid of them. I bought 6 nerite snails and one torches snail on sunday and today when I noticed the bloom got worse I added phosguard. We're these good things to do or am I going at this all wrong. Thanks!!

P.S. Its a 16 gallon biocube.

It's normal. Once the tank matures a little bit they will kinda just disappear. Parameters OK?

You shouldn't need phosguard yet

It’s all part of the process but now’s the time too add your clean up crew .. after diatoms comes the green hair .. watch in amazement as your tank cycles , use the time too research the fish and corals you would like too add .. here’s a link too start you off

Parameters are good for what I have the capabilities of testing. Ammonia 0, Nitrite 0, Nitrate- I forgot because I haven't checked yet today. Ph- 8.1/8.2 Salinity 1.024-1.026
