Diatoms?

Hi all,

I'm at about 6 months into my first tank. Waiting on a microscope. In the meantime, I was hoping to get your thoughts.

This is showing on sand and glass. Disappears at lights out, and is dusty orangish in color. I did filter some algea thru paper towel and it stayed settled at the bottom. No strings or mucus.

Also, should I syphon the bed during weekly WC, or leave it alone?

75g with 20g sump.

It is kind of hard to tell from photos might be earlier phase of cyano if it’s darker and slimmer I’d get some chemi clean https://amzn.to/3aIDEeG
