I have 2 new saltwater tanks one is 10 g and one is 5.5 g and the 10 g has been running for several weeks and the smaller one was set up around 2-3 weeks ago. Well the 10 g never had brown diatoms that I could see but the 5.5 gal has Them pretty heavy is there anything I should or shouldn’t be doing or just let it be

also donot judge my pineapple lol I know it’s ugly

Ammonia:1.0 ppm
nitrite: 0.25 I think
nitrate: it almost looks like 5.0 ppm but probably not

Reduce the white light in your tank to none for a couple of days and it will help.

New tank so could be diatoms but looks like it forms mat on the sand which is dinos. You can be only be sure if you put it under microscope.
how long do you have it?
Diatoms go in a few weeks.
if it looks better in the morning than in the afternoon you are not dealing with diatoms.
