I gather it's still cycling? If so, I wouldn't worry about it until the cycle is complete. Otherwise, if the tank has cycles you'll probably want to start investing in some cleanup crew.

Does a diatom bloom indicate the last part of the cycle? Yea it’s been a week mixed with live and dry rock also added bio spira. Is the sand bed deep enough for a cleanup crew?
These growths by rule cannot occur in an uncycled reef, not in any case ever posted online. This will help in future troubleshoots
when we use pictures of the display to verify cycle completion, these growths are exactly the subtle clues being noted. Just 24 hours ago we determined this tank was done cycling, then these appeared all over.
so to summarize, anytime you get a blanketing of new growth, a mat of any genus, even if very light, you are watching the succession from primary deposition (filter bacteria) to secondary and tertiary depositions, scums and algae and benthic creatures soon after.
this is the second visual cycling process step above...this threads title. The growths do not occur before the tank is able to pass basic ammonia control. Accepting any seneye studies for proofing

No just let em all grow and feed lightly, as in one tiny pellet of food that’s enough for a while. go buy fifty bucks in starter coral frags and put them in, if the light you have can be searched out verifiably growing coral in someone else’s reef then yours will be fine
don’t add fish before you complete fallow and qt at home. Min two hours study reading in fish disease forum before buying the first one.
once you get frags then be feeding small traces of rods frozen reef food and do weekly water changes. This is every nano reef on nano-reef.com it’s a sure win formula.

Diatoms are generally due to excess silicates in the tank which in turn is usually due to new sand in new tanks - Hence cycling tanks usually get them. Itll burn itself out.
Im not sure id say diatoms are any indication that your tank has cycled in terms of being cylced and ready for fish at all.
If you want to know if your tank has cycled then testing the water is your way to go.
