Does a diatom bloom indicate the last part of the cycle? Yea it’s been a week mixed with live and dry rock also added bio spira. Is the sand bed deep enough for a cleanup crew?I gather it's still cycling? If so, I wouldn't worry about it until the cycle is complete. Otherwise, if the tank has cycles you'll probably want to start investing in some cleanup crew.

Okay sounds good! Also I noticed some scavengers such as bristle worms and amphipods! Any recommendations do I get rid of the bristle worms?These growths by rule cannot occur in an uncycled reef, not in any case ever posted online. This will help in future troubleshoots
when we use pictures of the display to verify cycle completion, these growths are exactly the subtle clues being noted. Just 24 hours ago we determined this tank was done cycling, then these appeared all over.
