do I need to do a water change or just leave it as is? I'm not going to run copper at this time. Might wait until I get another fish then copper together.

A water change is fine. I wouldn't add another fish at this point since it can bring in flukes which would mean that both fish would then need to go through prazi again. Adding fish to QT when another fish is mid-way through is a bad idea. It can introduce new things to the original fish or reintroduce things you have already treated for and also starts the clock over for the original fish. It's always a better idea to get the first batch of fish (or single fish) through QT before starting another.

I have a long time to go with just this one fish in QT. DT is in fallow. Wanted to try and get two in there but what you just said makes sense. I might hold off on copper since he seems fine and I have a couple of months to go. What do you think?

It's up to you in the end, but presumably the DT is fallow for a reason which is usually ick/velvet. If that's the reason for the fallow period, then I would go ahead and treat with copper.

So would it hurt if I got another fish copper them both first and later put my flame hawk through another prazi?

I don't know the reason it's in fallow. Just lost a bunch of fish so now trying to play it safe.

In this case, I would definitely do copper treatment. I wouldn't advise buying another fish and treating them together. I get that it's just one fish. the odds of introducing a new/different strain of ick or velvet to the one that is probably already present makes QT even more complicated. I advise against it.
